Meal Services for Children FAQ

With the school closures, how can I feed my children breakfast and/or lunch?

Many school districts in the Fourth District are offering meals to students and any child 18 years and under due to school closures.

Anaheim Elementary School District

  • Free Meals (w/ summer)
  • During summer, free meals are available for children 18 and under Monday-Friday at the following locations
  • Service Days: Monday-Friday
  • Dates: June 5 - August 11
  • Time: 11:00am - Noon
  • Locations: Anaheim High School (811 W Lincoln Ave, Anaheim, CA 92805), Brookhurst Junior High School (601 N Brookhurst St, Anaheim, CA 92801), Katella High School (2200 E Wagner Ave, Anaheim, CA 92806), Kennedy High School (8281 Walker St, La Palma, CA 90623), Loara High School (1765 W Cerritos Ave, Anaheim, CA 92804), Ponderosa Elementary School (2135 S. Mountain View Ave, Anaheim, CA 92802), Sycamore Junior High School (1801 E Sycamore St. Anaheim, CA 92805), Western High School (501 S Western Ave, Anaheim, CA 92804)

 

Anaheim Union High School District

  • Summer Meals
  • All children, 18 years and under, can pick up a meal at any of the following locations above from 11:00am - 12:00pm through August 11th

Brea Olinda Unified School District

  • Summer Grab & Go Meals
  • Beginning Friday, June 5 - Monday, June 29
  • Meals will only be served on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
  • On Monday student will receive a HOT lunch for Monday and a COLD lunch for Tuesday. On Wednesday student will receive a HOT lunch for Wednesday and a COLD lunch for Thursday. Breakfast will also be included for each day.

  • Time: 11:30am - 12:30pm
  • Locations: Country Hills, Laurel, Brea Jr. High, Carbon Canyon (cold meals ONLY - no hot meals)

 

Buena Park School District

  • Meals for the Community
  • Dates: June 1-30
  • Service Days: Monday-Thursday
  • Time: 10:30am - Noon
  • Location: Gilbert School (7255 8th St., Buena Park)

 

Centralia School District

  • Summer Food Service Program
  • Service Days: Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays
  • Time: 10:00am to 12:00pm
  • Dates: June 1 to June 30, 2020
  • Locations: Walter Knott Education Center (7300 La Palma Avenue, Buena Park), Danbrook Elementary School (320 Danbrook Street, Anaheim), San Marino Elementary School (6215 San Rolando Way, Buena Park)

  • Dates: starting June 1st
  • Service Days: Monday-Friday
  • Time: 11:00am to 1:00pm

  • Meals served Monday through Friday and include breakfast and lunch
  • Time: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  • Locations: Buena Park HS, Fullerton HS, La Habra HS, La Vista/La Sierra HS, Sonora HS, Sunny Hills HS and Troy HS

 

La Habra City School District

Summer Grab & Go Meals

  • Free Breakfast to any child 18 years and under
  • Dates: Monday, June 8, 2020 - Monday, June 29, 2020
  • Time: 9:00am - 10:30am
  • Location: Washington Middle School (716 E La Habra Blvd, La Habra, CA 90631)

 

Magnolia School District

Summer Food Service (dates AFTER June 11th)

  • Service Days: Monday-Thursday
  • Dates: June 16th - August 20th
  • Time: 10:30am - 11:30am

Savanna School District

Food Services During School Closures

  • Service Day: Mondays ONLY
  • Time: families that live in the Cerritos and Hansen attendance areas to arrive between 11:30 am and noon; families that live in the Holder and Reid attendance areas arrive between noon and 12:30 pm
  • Location: Hansen School (1300 S. Knott Ave., Anaheim)
